People watching at the Vista Bahn in Vail Village was fun for a while. As soon as the breakfast similac and coffee was done, Mom and Josiah cruised down to the shops. Finding nothing that we couldn't live without, we headed down the road to Minturn.Being late-season, and early morning, everything in Minturn was closed, so we continued up Hwy. 24 to the Battle Mountain summit and beyond to the turn-off to Red Cliff. All that driving turned out to be the perfect opportunity for a nap.
Before we knew it, it was time to meet Dad and friends at the best apres ski venue in Vail, The George. Oversized leather couches, March Madness on the tube, and lots of people to giggle with made for a great end to a lazy day.
